About Stack Up
Stack Up is a one-button timing game. A block slides back and forth above your tower, and you drop it with a single tap. Whatever hangs over the edge is sliced off, so every sloppy drop leaves you with a narrower block for the next floor.
Land a drop almost exactly on top of the previous block and you score a Perfect: the block snaps into place and keeps its full width. Chain Perfects together and your tower can climb for a long time — miss completely and the run is over.
A run usually lasts between thirty seconds and two minutes, which makes Stack Up ideal for a quick break. Your best height this month goes on the leaderboard, and the board resets on the first day of every month (UTC).
How to play
- Tap the game, click, or press Space to drop the sliding block.
- Only the part that overlaps the block below stays on the tower.
- Drop within a few pixels of perfect alignment to keep the full width.
- The block speeds up as the tower grows. Miss the tower entirely and the game ends.
Tips for a higher score
- Watch the edge of the block below, not the middle of the moving block.
- Early floors are slow — use them to practise Perfect drops, because width is your only life.
- Blocks alternate sides. Get a rhythm going and tap on the beat rather than reacting late.
Monthly leaderboard
Only your best Stack Up score of the current month counts. The leaderboard resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of every month, and the top three are added to the Hall of Champions.
